Well, I prefer the term lead generation over the broad term of “marketing.” I think lead generation is more active than the passive aspects of marketing.
Either way, you have to look at both of these if you want to increase your revenue.
The problem is most people think that sales is not a problem. I have talked to thousands of entrepreneurs and rarely do they believe they have a challenge in sales.
If you want to increase your revenue, you must look at both sales and lead generation with strong curiosity as to what is really going on. Sometimes it is the smallest shift is all you need to make the biggest difference.
