Thinking Bigger From the Amazing 3 Foot Tall Sean Stephenson

Thinking Bigger From the Amazing 3 Foot Tall Sean Stephenson

Learning to “Think Bigger” is huge part of your growth at a personal and professional level. I have pulled out the big gun for today’s episode. I am honored to interview Sean Stephenson, who stands 3 feet tall (and faced so many challenges in his life). Sean shares with us how to think bigger and not let your circumstances dictate how you dream. Thinking bigger is like a muscle that you have to use or you risk losing it.

Target Audience: Sean works with individuals dealing with their insecurities.

Sean uses his own story to inspire others. Sean suffers from a bone disease. He was born with osteogenesis imperfecta, and stands three feet tall, has fragile bones, and must use a wheelchair. Through the adversities he has faced, he has gained quite a unique perspective. It motivated him to seek Personal Growth which has taught him to focus on those things he does have access to. Thus, he communicates and teaches through therapeutic metaphors. He shows others how to control the mind so that it works for you and not against you. He shows others how to guide their emotions in a way that empowers them.

Thinking Bigger

INSECURITY and FEAR are directly related. It’s not about thinking of what you don’t have but pivoting your focus on what you want. It takes courage to do things that haven’t been done before.

Sean’s Dream of Becoming a Speaker

Teachers and everyone else thought he was crazy to aspire to do it. Nevertheless, he stepped into the vision when he was just a kid. Doubters, haters and cynics will always be there. Sean asks us to remember that it’s a reflection of THEM. When you realize this, their words won’t have an emotional impact on you.

Then again, there are days when they will impact you and Sean says this is a matter of your own ability to give SELF CARE. This is important every day because you want to be sure to fill up your own soul and tend to your own well being.

My Brain is No Different Than Any Other Achiever

Sean’s standards of who he is becoming are high and sometimes he feels like he is slacking. But that’s just because there’s always more to do. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE MORE TO DO. And still, his mission stands: to rid the world of insecurity. The human race is his target audience which is a very big niche! Everyone has survived things though. It is his joy and privilege to be a light for this very thing.

Gaining A New Perspective

Sean put his clients in touch with those who are experiencing a greater struggle. By linking his client with another who needs support, the client feels valuable and gains a tremendous humbling experience. It’s all about finding the blessing.

Practical and Actionable:

Identify this first:
F- stuck in the “FED”= the state of the mind swirling in fears, envies and dislikes.

THEN: Switch the focus to the gap and identify these:

Goal- what you want
Appreciation- what you have
Preference- what you like

This alone supercharges a person. No matter where they are at. Stand in the GAP. There’s always enough evidence to prove your life sucks or to prove that it’s amazing.
