Leaders in the Trenches’ Target Audience: My target market for Leaders in the Trenches is people who are in the trenches, working hard to build businesses but sometimes feel overwhelmed by all the opportunities and responsibilities that come with being a business owner.
In this solo episode, I’m taking some time out to answer your most pressing questions. Based on my experience as a coach and a business owner, I field these five questions that cover various aspects of running your own business and being in the trenches. The five questions I chose to answer are representative of typical questions and situations all entrepreneurs face.
The purpose of this show is to help you get out of the trenches, and the best way to do that is to hear where you are right now and what challenges you are facing.
Get ready to hear my thoughts on whether or not business plans are really necessary when to give up on a marketing tactic you’re testing, how to properly hire a new employee, what niching is really about and how to prioritize your time for maximum effectiveness.
Odds are that even if you didn’t submit one of these questions, there will be some information you can take and apply to your business.
Practical & Actionable (at 20:33):
Some of the most practical and actionable advice I give in this episode is on productivity. You’ve got to be really present while you’re working and be present to recharge during the times you’re not working. If you’re in the trenches and want to get out, you’ve got to manage your time better.
One of the best ways to do this is to focus on what’s most important each day. You can do this by choosing the 3 most important things that day and get those done. Do this every day and you will definitely see your business grow.
